
Other Activities
Apart from Sunday worship, there are many other activities associated with St. George's:
Various Small Groups meet in people's homes throughout the week for a variety of activities including worship & Bible study.
On the 1st Wednesday of the month at 8.00 p.m. in church we have a Celebration where most of the small groups come together.
Alpha - A 10-week course where you can find out more about the Christian faith in a relaxed atmosphere. See Diary Dates for our next course.
St. George's Pre-School - Tuesday to Friday (9.15 a.m.-12 noon)
Parent & Toddler Group - Thursdays 1.00-3.00 p.m. A group led by church members.
New Thundersley Seniors' Club meets in the church hall every Tuesday, 2.00-4.00 p.m., run by church members.
A drop-in Coffee Shop Wednesdays 9.30 -11.45 a.m
Uniformed organisations for young people:
Rainbows: Mondays 4.45-5.45 p.m. Tuesdays 5.00-6.00 p.m.
Brownies: Mondays 5.45-7.15p.m. Tuesdays 4.30-6.00p.m. Wednesdays 4.15-5.45 p.m.
Guides: Wednesdays 6.15-7.45 p.m.
Cubs: Fridays 6.15 p.m.
Scouts: Fridays 8.00 p.m.

Various Prayer Meetings. We also operate PrayerPoint where anyone can let us know of a prayer need they have for themselves or someone they know.
We want to be a community that reaches out in mission and that undergirds our activities with prayer. We hope that we are open to God's leading in forming and re-forming activities as we are led.
